Lords of the West Indies
Etienne was featured at the Allen Room at Jazz At Lincoln Center again this time with legendary pianist, Monty Alexander in the concert, Lords of the West Indies, a celebration of mento, calypso and jazz.

Ralph MacDonald - Mixty Motions

Culture Shock Live in Trinidad.
On October 25th, 2007 Etienne performed at the Trinidad & Tobago steelpan and jazz festival with his band Culture Shock Project.

Live at MoMA
On August 12, 2007 Etienne made his New York debut with his band 'Culture Shock Project' in the Summergarden series at the Museum of Modern Art. The concert, Folklore Tales, featured the World Premiere of original compositions inspired by the stories of the Caribbean folklore characters. The attendance record for the series was broken that night with an audience of over 800 people in the Summergarden on the Sunday evening. The audience was treated to surprise guest appearances by Caribbean music legends Ralph MacDonald and Monty Alexander.

ELEVATION GETS 2 GRAMMY NOMINATIONS
This summer Eitienne joined The Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra & Big Band to record the album "Elevation." Two tracks from that album have been nominated for Grammys - one for arrangement and one for composition. Congratulations!
